Name: ByAgents. Primary website: https://byagents.dev. Contact: team@byagents.dev. Purpose: help businesses get found, understood, and used by AI agents. Machine-readable counterpart: facts.json.

  • Product facts and an OpenAPI description of the knowledge endpoints.

Customer delivery product

The separate product saves business and developer onboarding into a customer workspace. Customers maintain facts and tasks, check supplied contracts, prepare task pages and API recipes, edit and approve exact file versions, download a release, record publication and retain attributed test observations. API examples come from supplied specifications; unavailable instructions remain explicit gaps. Files are not automatically published.

The CLI release and portable agent skill are public downloads without a card or account. Verify them using SHA-256 checksums. The CLI requires Node.js 22.13 or later. It runs static checks, a local synthetic fixture, and an explicit public-page retrieval check. It is not published to a package registry.

The app remains owner-private; external self-service has not launched. A link from the public website is not a claim of anonymous access to every product function. The current app URL is https://app.byagents.dev.

What a static diagnostic establishes

A static check can identify missing or inconsistent contract information, such as a job accepted without a documented result retrieval path. It can suggest a repair for review. It does not authenticate to the provider, verify live service behavior, or measure whether independent agents discover the product.

Not currently offered

No live MCP server for this library; no universal agent directory or ranked marketplace; no guaranteed placements or citations; no production agent-traffic attribution dashboard; no automated purchasing or booking service; no published customer outcome dataset.

Ambition and evidence

The broader ambition is to improve distribution from an agent’s task to useful customer activity. Product planning and static readiness checks are early components of that ambition. They are not proof of organic acquisition, revenue, or retention. Updates to capabilities should be reflected in this reference and its JSON counterpart together.

Onboarding and agent handoff

The primary product route is now /start in the separate product application. It supports developer and business paths, saves confirmed information, and prepares a proposed starting plan. The current application is owner-private; external self-service is not launched. Public agent routing metadata is at the handoff manifest. It describes access limits and safe handoff URLs. No public account-creation or submission API is offered. The older marketing inquiry form is retired; historical inquiries remain private.

Free and paid access

The free signup result contains one useful opportunity based on the supplied answers. It does not represent a percentage of a completed website audit, and the full private draft is not sent to the browser. Insights is proposed at $399 USD per month per business for full findings from supplied material, recommendations, editable files and the saved workspace. Autopilot is a planned $1,490 USD per month tier for recurring checks and approved updates; it is coming soon and cannot be purchased. Checkout remains disabled pending payment activation and external access validation. Public documentation, the CLI and the agent skill remain free without a card. Pricing does not establish willingness to pay, and neither tier guarantees discovery or revenue.
