For a brand, agent readiness starts with accurate product information and a usable path to the right item. A recommendation is of little value if it lands on the wrong variant, an unavailable size, or a checkout that contradicts the advertised offer.

## Work backward from a buying question
A shopper may ask for a waterproof commuter bag under a budget, delivered before a trip. Useful facts include dimensions, materials, capacity, weather resistance, price, stock, delivery region, and return conditions. A broad brand story can matter, but it does not answer those constraints on its own.

Select a small set of priority products and common buying questions. Identify which page answers each question and whether the answer can be retrieved without interacting with a carousel, modal, or account wall. Include the relevant qualifiers: water-resistant is not automatically waterproof, and a delivery estimate depends on destination and order time.

## Give each product a stable identity
Keep names, URLs, variant relationships, and identifiers consistent across product pages, feeds, and structured records. Distinguish a product family from the specific item being offered. Do not let the default size or color silently stand in for every variant.

Google documents product structured data and merchant listing experiences, with requirements that vary by feature. Those are useful distribution surfaces to evaluate, not universal requirements shared by all agents. ## Make the offer clear
- State currency and whether a displayed price applies to a particular variant or quantity.
- Keep availability aligned with the actual purchasing system.
- Explain delivery regions, costs, and material restrictions in accessible text.
- Link return and cancellation policies near the decision.
- Preserve the selected item and variant when the customer reaches checkout.

Avoid inventing availability in a static profile. For facts that change rapidly, point to a current source and treat cached values as snapshots. A correct catalog yesterday can still produce a bad recommendation today.

## Support claims with product evidence
If a claim matters to a buying decision, explain how it is supported. Dimensions should have units. Certifications should name their scope and source. Customer reviews should remain attached to the correct product and context. A general testimonial should not become evidence of a technical property.

## Verify the final handoff
Test a permitted journey from a task page to the correct product, variant, cart, and checkout boundary. Confirm the final price and conditions are clear before any purchase. A research agent may hand the user a link; a transactional agent may have additional permissions. Design for both without assuming it may spend money automatically.

## A focused first project
Choose ten products, five buying questions, and one distribution route. Fix inconsistent facts and broken destinations first. Measure retrieved pages, qualified visits, and actual customer events separately. Do not label a product-feed upload or a simulated shopping session as new revenue.

ByAgents’ company path currently helps organize this preparation. It does not automatically publish merchant feeds, manage stock, or guarantee placements in shopping assistants.
